Denver Scholarship Foundation
We are proud to support the work of the Denver Scholarship Foundation (DSF), assisting Denver students to pursue a college education. Colorado School of Mines
We are proud to partner with the Colorado School of Mines, an institution with a long history of training tomorrow’s energy leaders. The School of Mines is a public research university that specializes in engineering and applied science, and is also one of the few institutions in the world that has broad expertise in resource exploration, extraction, production and utilization.

University of Wyoming Petroleum Engineer Scholarship
We support the Petroleum Engineer Scholarship which enables its recipients to pursue a career in petroleum engineering.

Western State College Landman Scholarship
The Landman Scholarship was established for the new Natural Resource Land Management program at Western State College located in Gunnison, Colorado. The Land Management Program is the only such program in the Rocky Mountain region.

Metro Care Ring Homeless Shelter/Food Bank of the Rockies
Metro Care Ring and Food Bank of the Rockies are two of the largest hunger relief organizations in Denver. Last year, Food Bank of the Rockies distributed more than 35 million pounds of food and Metro Care Ring provided emergency and self-sufficiency services to more than 125,000 low-income and homeless individuals, offering food, utility and transportation assistance, work readiness items, and identification documents.

Southern Arkansas University
We award a scholarship to one graduating Senior from each of our area high schools to attend Southern Arkansas University.

Magnolia Boys & Girls Club
More than 1,000 area children benefit from the programs provided by the Magnolia Boys & Girls Club. By providing various after school programs, youth sports league teams, and other non-athletic activities for Magnolia and Columbia County, it is a positive place for kids.

Columbia & Lafayette County Rural Fire Departments
We support the Bussey-Sharman, Macedonia-Dorcheat, Stamps, and Walker Creek Fire Departments with additional resources so they can better protect their communities.

Stamps Sports League
The Stamps Sports League sponsors baseball and softball leagues for both youth and adults in the Stamps/Lafayette County community.

Clarence Berry Memorial Scholarship at Taft Jr. College
Taft Jr. College is part of the Eastern Kern Community College District Scholarship Program. The scholarship was established to assist students in the Taft, McKittrick, and Fellows communities.

West Kern Oil Museum-Taft
Bonanza Creek is a lifetime benefactor of the West Kern Oil Museum. The Museum allows hundreds of school children each year to visit and learn more about the oil industry and its rich history.

Association of Petroleum Wives’ Annual Sporting Clay Shoot
We are a proud sponsor of the Annual Sporting Clay Shoot, which benefits the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Southern California Chapter.

Boy Scouts of Bakersfield
The mission of the Boy Scouts is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
